An interview with Jnyanpeeth award winner INDIRA GOSWAMI / MAMONI ROISOM GOSWAMI

Indira Goswami is popularly known as Mamoni Roisom Goswami . Her novel often raises the feminine issues and tries to revolt against the existing traditional social norms. Before Mamoni, it was not heavily found in Assamese novels.
She believes her life is the subject for the novels, And that's worth proves.
She is controversial too, few years back , when her novel CHINNAMASTAR MANUHTU was appeared, some orthodox religious people closed the doors of temple for her. This famous writer got JNYANPEETH AWARD in 2000. Lately she was again came to controversy, when she led the ULFA - GOVT peace talks.
This is an interview with her mainly focusing the issues of literature.
